The scheme for the Care Centre focuses on intensive and high dependency care where supervision and patient’s sense of well-being are paramount. Whilst the surgical and imaging rooms have been designed with patients in mind, there was particular focus on improving the privacy and waiting areas as well. The location of nurse stations in the recovery wards were positioned with the optimum view possible not just for the nurses to passively monitor their patients, but also for the patients to be reassured that a nurse is near.

The recovery of patients is dependent on the environment, and we have designed bespoke 4 bedroom wards and single bedroom wards to allow them to feel relaxed and tranquil during their stay.
