A concept design of a new flagship visitor centre for Kent Wildlife Trust, offering key messaging around nature, health and wellbeing. Offering unparalleled views, the building sits sensitively within the treeline providing an anchor point for walkers, visitors and birdwatchers with minimal impact on the local environment.

Our concept for the RIBA international competition with the Kent Wildlife Trust promotes learning, wellbeing, and a connection to nature. Wildlife and landscape are important factors that informs the design, impacting the existing treeline and environment minimally. The large windows overlook the whole site offering different perspectives of the reserve, while elements of wood and glass soften the impact of the building in the landscape.
